Specifications and characteristics of ALPHAGAZ™ 1 ARGON
ALPHAGAZ™ 1 ARGON is conceived for routine analysis in the laboratory. The high purity level and the low level of impurities are the main component in the ALPHAGAZ concept.
It is recommended for performing analyses in the range from % to ppm and is supplied with a product label (certificate of conformity).
ALPHAGAZ™ 1 ARGON has a shelf life of 5 years. A reliable quality is ensured at any time by the ISO 9001 certification of our laboratories.
ALPHAGAZ™ 1 ARGON is a compressed colorless and odorless gas, which is not flammable but suffocating in high concentrations.
Applications of ALPHAGAZ™ 1 ARGON
Often ALPHAGAZ™ 1 ARGON is used as plasma gas for inductively coupled plasma (ICP), carrier gas in gas chromatography (GC) as well as purge gas, zero gas or operating gas in spark spectrometry. It is also frequently used as a protective gas for atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS).
The laboratory gas is also suitable for applications in the semiconductor industry. Here it can be used for inerting, rinsing, hardening and sputtering.
Delivery form(s) of ALPHAGAZ™ 1 ARGON
Air Liquide supplies the high purity gas throughout Germany in gas cylinders of various sizes (10l, 50l) as well as in bundles (12x50l) partly in 2 pressure stages (200 and 300 bar).
